When to See a Myotherapist
There are many reasons for seeing a Myotherapist. You may identify with one or more of the following;
- You are experiencing musculoskeletal pain and/or dysfunction
- You have a restriction in the movement of your joints or body regions
- Examples include:
- restriction of head and neck movement
- restriction of shoulder movement
- restriction of spine movement such as bending forward or straightening up, getting out of a chair, with or without pain
- You are suffering on going headaches
- You suffer jaw and face pain
- You suffer joint stiffness
- You feel generalized muscle tightness
- You have pain associated with occupational stress
- You are experiencing stress and anxiety
- You have fibromyalgia or myofascial pain syndrome
- You require rehabilitation post surgery or injury
- You have pain of unknown origin
- You require a postural assessment and/or personalized exercise program
- You identify with any of the listed common conditions
- You desire a relaxation or therapeutic massage
- You are pregnant or post natal and have sore, aching muscles and joints or postural issues
