When to See a Myotherapist

There are many reasons for seeing a Myotherapist. You may identify with one or more of the following;

  • You have a restriction in the movement of your joints or body regions

    • restriction of head and neck movement
    • restriction of shoulder movement
    • restriction of spine movement such as bending forward or straightening up, getting out of a chair, with or without pain
  • You are suffering on going headaches
  • You suffer jaw and face pain
  • You suffer joint stiffness
  • You feel generalized muscle tightness
  • You have pain associated with occupational stress
  • You are experiencing stress and anxiety
  • You have fibromyalgia or myofascial pain syndrome
  • You require rehabilitation post surgery or injury
  • You have pain of unknown origin
  • You require a postural assessment and/or personalized exercise program
  • You identify with any of the listed common conditions
  • You desire a relaxation or therapeutic massage
  • You are pregnant or post natal and have sore, aching muscles and joints or postural issues
